HT Contact Form gives you full control over how long your form submissions are stored. With the Delete Old Entries feature, you can automatically delete entries after a specified period—helping you keep your site clean, optimized, and compliant with data retention policies.
This guide will walk you through how to enable and configure this feature step by step.
Step 1: Navigate to Form Settings #
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Click HT Contact Form → Forms.
- Open the form you want to manage.
- Click the Form Settings tab at the top.

Step 2: Enable “Delete Old Entries” #
- In the General section, toggle Delete Old Entries to ON.
- Once enabled, a new option will appear below it: Delete Old Entries After.

Step 3: Set the Auto-Delete Duration #
From the Delete Old Entries After number filed, choose how long the entries should be stored before automatic deletion.

- 7 days
- 14 days
- 30 days
- 60 days
- 90 days
