The Show Plugin Thumbnails feature in WP Plugin Manager enhances the usability of the plugin list by displaying plugin logos. This makes it much easier to visually identify and manage plugins from the General tab.
Why Enable Plugin Thumbnails? #
In the General tab, each plugin is listed with its name and status. When thumbnails are enabled, the visual logos appear next to each plugin—making them instantly recognizable. This is especially helpful if you manage many plugins.
Step 1: Go to Display Settings #
- Navigate to Plugin Manager → Settings.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Display Settings.
- Toggle the switch ON next to Show Plugin Thumbnails.
- Click the Save Settings button to apply the change.
⚠️ Note: After enabling this option, you must refresh the page to see the thumbnails in the plugin list.
Step 2: View Thumbnails in General Tab #
- Navigate to the General tab from the Plugin Manager menu.
- You will now see thumbnails beside each plugin name.
