The “Acceptance Field” is an important extension that lets you add an acceptance checkbox to your contact forms.
If you configure the extension for any of your contact forms, your visitors will see an additional checkbox before they submit the form.
This checkbox confirms the user's consent for a specific condition.
Enabling the Acceptance Field Extension #
To enable the extension, first, go to the “HT CF7 Extension” menu.
Afterward, open the “Extensions” tab, and you will see a switcher option to enable the “Acceptance Field” extension.
Once you enable the extension, don't forget to save the settings.

“HT CF7DB Accept Submission” Option #
When you edit a contact form after enabling the “Acceptance Field” extension, you will notice a new tag called “HT CF7DB Accept Submission“.
All you have to do is insert the tag in a place, where you want to show the acceptance field on your contact form.

Configuring the “HT CF7DB Accept Submission” tag #
If you click the “HT CF7DB Accept Submission” tag, a popup will show. This is where you need to configure the tag before adding it to the contact form.

- Name: Set a unique name for the acceptance field.
- Condition Message: Insert a message to display after the acceptance checkbox.
- Options: Control whether you want to make the checkbox option checked by default.
- ID Attribute: If you want to add an ID attribute to the acceptance field, insert a unique ID.
- Class Attribute: If you want to add a class attribute to the field, insert a class name.
After inserting the “HT CF7DB Accept Submission” tag #
When you insert the tag into your contact form, a shortcode will be added like the following based on the configured settings:

After completing the Accept Submission extension settings, you will see the front-end form displaying the Accept submission field.
